Power BI Gateway
Hi,
I have to establish a schedule refresh with mysql db located on Amazon Relational Database Service.
Do I need to install gateway for schedule refresh and where to install it?
Is it possible to install the gateway on linux machine located on aws or i need to install it on windows??
Or what can be the best ways to install gateway.??
Or is there any alternative for schedule refresh.??

Anonymous yes you need a gateway, enterprise gateway is recommended, the gateway machine to be on the network where it can access amazon mysql database.
Not sure if you can install on Linux but here is a post on it.
