Hi, I am loading a bunch of Excel Files (Monthly Sales Data) contained in a Folder. So, I am using a Folder Connection to load all files at once.
The Folder Path looks like -> SharedPath\Power BI\Input_Files. The folder "Input_Files" stores all the excel files.
Now, there is a slight change in folder structure. Inside Input_Files folder there would be a folder each for Financial Year. So, as of now I have "FY 20-21" and "FY 21-22" folders who in turn now actually hold sales excel files. The moment this folder structure changed, I am getting error in Power BI as "File Contains Corrupted Data". There are no corrupted files I checked thoroughly.
I am suspecting this error is caused due to change in folder structure. Can someome please help me how to solve this error? @amitchandak @GilbertQ
Note : I am facing this issue in my Company's machine - Power BI May 2020 Version. (Can't update Power BI).
When I replicated the same scenario in my local machine, files got loaded flawlessly without any error.

Hi, @sahildoshi
Try the following steps:
1. Uninstall the desktop version
2. Delete the Cache and CEF folders in the paths as below.
3. Reinstall Power BI and try again
Another possible explanation is that the file is password protected and not corrupted.
Try to remove workbook protection "Restrict access"

Hi @sahildoshi
What I am going to suggest is to update Power BI Desktop first. That is the easiest way to check to make sure it will then work?
