Dear Team,
I am facing a recurring issue with Power BI Desktop where the application logs out automatically every time I close it. Even though my account is already signed in, it often prompts me to enter my email address and password again (please refer to the attached screenshot).
This repeated sign-in requirement is quite inconvenient and interrupts workflow.
Details:
Power BI Desktop Version: 2.147.1085.0
Account Type: Organizational
System OS: Windows 11
Frequency: Every time after closing Power BI Desktop
Steps to Reproduce:
Sign in to Power BI Desktop using organizational credentials.
Close Power BI Desktop.
Reopen the application.
It again asks to “Enter your email address” to sign in.
Expected Behavior:
Power BI Desktop should remain signed in and not prompt for credentials every time it is reopened.

1. Have you clicked OK for the below prompt (refer image) when you sign in ?
2. You can also add the microsoft account to your system which will be found under the Start menu

Probably this might be the reason - Turn off the option>preview feature that saves to one drive and sharepoint
