I have noticed that over the past few weeks, whenever I select 'Refresh All' in Power BI Desktop, only some tables actually update while others remain unchanged in Power Query. The refresh status in Power BI shows a successful update, but when I go to Power Query, a banner appears indicating that certain tables have not been updated for X days.
This happened to all dashboards.

Hi @Chipsnump ,
Thanks for the reply from danextian / Akash_Varuna .
When you click “Refresh” in Power BI Desktop, the data in the data model is refreshed, while the preview data in the Power Query editor remains as previously cached.
The preview data is not updated automatically, you need to manually click “Refresh Preview” in the Power Query Editor to update the preview for a specific query.

Hi @Anonymous
Is it possible to happen to all daily power bi files? and how could we know what factors would create the cache version in power query?
Hi @Chipsnump
That's just how the query editor behaves - what you're seeing is the cached version. Have you checked in table/data view if the udpated data is actually loaded?
Yes, I did. The updating status showed successfully update, but when I go to power query, the table is sometimes outdated. So, I have to update it manually both in power query and power bi.
Hi @Chipsnump Could you try upgrading and clearing cache here are some things could you check these please
Hi @Akash_Varuna
Thank you for your sharing, I did all the process as usual. Just wondering why do I have to delete cache almost every 3 days for every power bi files.
