Power BI Desktop Refresh All - Not Updating data in Power Query
- Anonymous1 year ago
Hi Chipsnump ,
Thanks for the reply from danextian / Akash_Varuna .
When you click “Refresh” in Power BI Desktop, the data in the data model is refreshed, while the preview data in the Power Query editor remains as previously cached.
The preview data is not updated automatically, you need to manually click “Refresh Preview” in the Power Query Editor to update the preview for a specific query.
Best Regards,
Yang

Hi Akash_Varuna
Thank you for your sharing, I did all the process as usual. Just wondering why do I have to delete cache almost every 3 days for every power bi files.
