Hi,
I am trying to connect to MySQL on Power BI desktop but I keep getting the error message that the MySQL connector is not installed.

suggests that I need version 8.0.16 instead of the latest version.
Anyone know how to go about it

Thanks @lbeneyze, however I don't think 8.0.28 works as well. 8.0.16 works so have gone with this first

You need to uninstall 8.0.29 and install 8.0.28 . 8.0.29 has a known bug that prevents the connector from working.
