Hi @Prodingero ,
Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft fabric community forum and I appreciate you providing the additional details.
You're correct, the issue with repeated login prompts when using SharePoint.Files in Power BI Desktop (version 2.143.1204.0) is a known bug introduced in the May 2025 release. Since your device is Intune-managed, downgrading isn’t an option.
As a workaround using Power Query in Excel is a good temporary solution, as it’s not affected. Microsoft is actively investigating the issue. A fix is expected in an upcoming release likely June or July 2025.
Also thank you @rajendraongole1 for your inputs.

If I use Power Query in Excel instead of Power Query in Power BI desktop the problem doesn´t exist.
Hi rajendraongole1, problem is, your suggest doesn´t match. a version can not be downloaded beause my pc is managed by intune. i have tried other wise to connect with my pin, it seems like a liitle bit better.
So wne do you think, the problem is fixed. It is very important, because i am a key-user for power bi in my company and it woul be very bad, if for the credits of stability of power bi. So perhaps you can accelerate the bug fixing.
Hi @Prodingero -File → Options and settings → Data Source Settings → Global Permissions remove if there is any entires.
Reopen your report and re-authenticate when prompted. If you are prompted to use “Organizational account” — make sure to sign in with your Entra ID account.
