Power BI Desktop - Get Data - Access Denied
Get Data is returning access denied. Even happens when I try to load excel spreadsheet from my hard drive. I have the trace file. Sent it to microsoft but no reply. please help

Try clearing your credentials. I don't recall the exact menu path, but I'm pretty sure it is on the file menu somewhere 1 level in.
To get data from Excel, it supposed to use current Windows user account. In my opinion, you need to make sure you can open Excel in hard drive firstly. Please use process monitor to find which process is locked.
