Hi,
Has anyone successfully used "Power BI desktop" or "Microsoft Power BI Desktop (Optimized for Power BI Report Server - August 2018)" DirectQuery Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (it's an Oracle Cloud Data Warehouse based on Oracle 18.0.3.3)?
There is no problem to use import mode, but encountered "Couldn't load the model schema" in DirectQuery Mode.
Client information as below:
-Windows Server 2016 Standard
-Power BI Desktop (August 2018) ver2.61.5192.641 64-bit
-Oracle 64-bit ODAC 12c Release 4 (12.1.0.2.4) for Windows x64

Hi @Anonymous,
Based on my test, it could work normally on my side and I could not reproduce your problem, do you use VPN in your scenario?
If so, you could refer to below issue that may have the same problems with yours:
If it still could not help you solve your problem, I would recommend you open a support ticket on the support.powerbi.com site.
Regards,
Daniel He
