I have managed to set up a scheduled data refresh after setting up a personal gateway to my computer, so Power BI reads a folder with all the csv files that are on my machine.
However, I read that the data set is limited at 1GB so once the folder with the files is bigger than 1GB the data refresh will stop. Am I understanding this correctly? If the refresh stops, is there anyway to get around the 1GB limit?
Also is there any way to set the refresh schedule to be in 15 minute intervals rather than schedule the maximum 8 refreshes a day?
Hi @Anonymous,
I think you have quite big data, what you can do is:
Instead of doing transformation in Desktop, you do it on Data flow
and If you want your data refreshes, instantly use Direct Query
but both of these are quite challenging sometime!!!
Thanks!
