Power BI Data Modeling

Hi all,

I am using power bi for more than an year now. I am contributing as a single power bi resource in the team so I am not able to brainstorm with other developers to find efficient ways in implementing. One such area is Data modeling, though i am very much comfortable with basics, but when I get tables with no unique id I have to concatenate two columns and go for many to many relationship, I know it is not efficient. could anyone of you suggest me any books where I can learn advance data modeling and some books for dax. Thank you!

Lots of stuff out there!

As a specific answer to your main issue have a look at https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Zlu99RUtMRY

I'd also highly recommend the intro to power bi data modelling course from SQLBI (free) along with the full paid version.

In terms of wider reading have a look at Kimballs, The Datawarehouse Toolkit.

More than happy to discuss further if you want to send a PM
