I am a newbie to Power BI and I have a use case where I need t build a Power BI dashboard from multiple folders. Each folder contains a set of excel workbooks, which get updated every week.
My objective is to create the dashboard in such a way that every week when the updated workbooks are placed in the respective folders, and the dashboard is refreshed, it should display the updated figures.
What is my best solution option here?
Hi @Anonymous ,
In my understanding, you want the dashboard to change as the data source changes, if this is the case, you should install a gateway and configure scheduled refresh.

Hi @Anonymous ,
There's a folder connector in Power BI Desktop which will show the contents of the folder including their attributes. You can filter what contents need to be connected to. The step after that depends on the file type (csv, xlsx, accdb). There could be more than one approach to your use case.
These can help you get started:

Or you may post a link to your folder of files so some community users can give you a sample pbix for your use case.
