Power BI Dashboard Gateway Refresh - Failure after addition of New Column
Hi All,
I have a Power BI dashboard that uses Gateway to refresh from the Database.
It was working well until recently we added a new column to the source views. After that the refresh through the gateway is failing. I checked individually and the refresh fails for the views where the column is newly added.
Also 2 views have the column added and both have the same error.
Below is the error mail that i got after failure:
I suspect any of the below issues - 1. The new column has space 'Column A' unlike the other columns in the view which are separated by underscore.
2.There is a name difference between the Dev DB i have access to and the Prod DB i refresh using the Gateway.
Kindly help how to resolve this issue.

Error happened since the Prod DB & Dev DB columns were named differently and hence it was not being identified from the Gateway.

Hi @Anonymous
Can you try perform the refresh in Power BI Desktop manually and see if there is an error in the load? The error may stem from the additional column not being incorporated into the PBIX and you may need to republish the Power BI file to the respective workspace in Power BI Service.
Let me know how it works out either way! 🙂
