I have been trying to connect an ADX cluster to Power BI desktop, but I keep getting the same error below
My login credentials used in Power BI desktop are my organisation's credentials.
The ADX cluster is in a different subscription but I use my same organisation's credentials to login to the Azure portal.
I've also added the organisation's email address in the database permissions of the ADX db.
This error is still present. Could this be because of the difference in the domain name of the tenant in the subscription and my email address?
When I try to connect to an ADX cluster in the organisation's subscription (which has the same domain as my email address), the connection is successful.
Could you help me out with this?
What could be the possible cause of this error in the other subscription?
@mohit0201 You could check the Issues forum here:
https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Issues/idb-p/Issues
And if it is not there, then you could post it.
If you have Pro account you could try to open a support ticket. If you have a Pro account it is free. Go to https://support.powerbi.com. Scroll down and click "CREATE SUPPORT TICKET".
I didn't find a similar issue in the forum.
Do I need to post it again?
