Potting Routes/Paths by Time in Maps - MapBox Lines Available?

All, 

I am trying to plot a path of a car using lat,long and time. I would like to have it filtered based on other visualizations. I used Mapbox but it only allows circles/heatmaps/clusters/choropleth. 

I have tried using RouteMap visuals but the zoom is not comparable to mapbox quality.

1. Can I plot a line(route) based on timestamp grouped by CarId in MapBox?

2. Is there any other custom visual options available?

Have you tried Route map?

i use it for analysing running and cycling

Yes, I have. There rendering and smoothness on the mapbox is much better than the routemap when there is lot of data. Anyways, I am using the RouteMap now, just was wondering if Mapbox will work too. Thanks @Anonymous .
