Hello everyone,
I have an issue.
I have a date format in my PostgreSQL database like this : YYYY-MM-DD
When I am connecting in DirectQuery Power BI to this database, my date format changes : DD-MM-YYYY 00:00:00
=> Can someone explain me why ?
=> How to remove the time (00:00:00) ?
Thank you.
It based on the data type and format. In this article, I have shown how to change the data type for direct query
Very similar to this
Thank you for your answer.
But I still don't know why I have 00:00:00 at this end of my date.
- Is it a normal behavior ?
- How to remove them outside Power BI ? I don't want to do any transformation in Power Query.
@Anonymous
Take a look at Data types in Power BI Desktop and try using CAST to convert data type in SQL statement.
