Hello,
I have tried to connect report to PostgreSQL but during the report refreshing I am getting:
OLE DB or ODBC error: [DataSource.Error] Sybase SQL Anywhere: Connection error: Connection was dropped (may not be a SQL Anywhere server) . An unexpected exception occurred.
In data source settings I have also this:
It seems I used ODBC connector.
So how to resolve my error in report?
Also getting this error while refreshing the report.
Hi @Analitika ,
Whether your problem still persist? Which data source you are connecting to currently? Sybase or PostgreSQL? How did you connect to it(Using ODBC)? Could you please provide the applied codes in Advanced Editor?
Importing PostgreSQL Data into Power BI Through an ODBC Connection
Best Regards
I tried these steps but not helped. Same error remains.
Which one parameters are wrong? In ODBC or Sybase connector?
@Analitika , There is some problem with the setting. It is showing error for sybase. Parameters are wrong.
Refer to this - it shows two ways. Do not miss steps
I have already setup postgresql but stilll getting several errors:
OLE DB or ODBC error: [DataSource.Error] Sybase SQL Anywhere: Connection error: Connection was dropped (may not be a SQL Anywhere server).
