Hi!
I am wondering if its possible to populate a table based on a connection string or m-language code snippet stored in anouther table.
My idea is that we store table definitions in m-language in a shared sharepoint document. I want to load that connection string and create/populate a power bi table based on that. Is that possible?
For example the sharepoint document can be structured like this:
Source | ConnectionString
-------------------------------
Source1 | "let Source = AnalysisServices.Database("asazure://westeurope.asazure.windows.net/Test", "Test", [Query="EVALUATE SUMMARIZECOLUMNS(...)"
Then I want to get the content of the connectionstring column and evaluate it so a table gets populated.

HI, @Anonymous
According to my knowledge, I'm afraid that it couldn't achieve in power bi for now.
For your requirement, you could post your new idea in Power BI ideas and make this feature coming sooner.
Best Regards,
Lin
