Perspectives and Object-Level Security

Hi all,

I have received a request to restrict personalization options by user.  The PBIX file already has perspectives set up so that users can personalize visuals, but the request is so that certain columns can be hidden from certain users when they use personalization.  

Is this possible?

@garynorcrossmmc , You can use Perspectives for that. But you have make sure those columns./meausres are not used in report/page. As Perspectives does not error on already used components. It is not meant to provide security.

You need to use Tabular editor for that
