Period start date end date slicer - ALLSELECTED not working properly

Hi All,

I am trying to build a slicer showing StartDate and EndDate for a financial period, based on selected filters.

See example below:

Weatherreport_0-1630291172619.png

However period 1 FY22 starts for our business on 29/06/21 and ends on 26/07/21.

The enddate formula doesn't seem to be working correctly because it returns the last day of the financial year (28/06/2022) rather than last day of the period (ie. 26/07/21).

What should I change in the formula below?

EndDate = CALCULATE ( MAX ( Dates[Date]), ALLSELECTED(Dates[Date]))

Many thanks,
Marco

@Weatherreport

I created some data:

Here are the steps you can follow:

1. Create measure.

EndDate = CALCULATE(MAX('Date'[Date]),FILTER(ALLSELECTED('Date'),'Date'[Financial Year]=MAX('Date'[Financial Year])))

2. Result:

@Weatherreport , Try like

EndDate = CALCULATE ( MAX ( Dates[Date]), ALLSELECTED(Dates))

or

EndDate = MAXX (ALLSELECTED(Dates), Dates[Date])

@amitchandak

Thanks. I have tried them both but still the wrong date (28/06/2022 rather than 26/07/2021).

It looks like MAX is returning the latest date of the financial year rather than the period and I don't get why
