Hi!
I have a BI question about performance in our tabular model deployed to Azure Analysis Services. I know this isn't a forum for tabular models in AAS, but I always get such great support from this community so I thought I'd give it a try.
From one day to another, we suddenly face quite serious performance issues in our model. The QPU usage goes through the roof, and the memory usage increases. Why did it happen? Well, we deployed two calculated columns and some SUMX measures which apparently our current AAS model (pricing tier S2) couldn't handle.
We have now drawn back the deploy and removed the problematic calculated columns and measures, but we still have QPU and memory usage problems. It's better, but it's still not good enough. In my opinion the situation should be back to normal after removing the columns and measures...
Does anyone have any input on this issue? And maybe some suggestions on what we can do?
Just let me know if you need more information. Thanks in advance!
/Ella
