Performance Issue while click on Icon

We are using Query string from application to power bi desktop report  to view the data .

In Query string we are passing Id for an Entity and data get loaded for that entity . Now the user wants to search for other ids as well .

Since Query string is adding filter to the report for id so to remove the filter we are using bookmark . and now all the ids got loaded and user type the id in the Sclier  which it is looking for and view the data for another id .

Issue: when the User click on the Icon where we have set bookmark to remove the filter it takes some time to load all the data, can we  fine tune the process . Please suggest .

We are using Import mode to pull the data from On Prem SQL SERVER to Power BI Desktop.

Hi @subhadip,

If your data source is very large in database and you use import mode, it do take some time to load the data.

You could use Direct Query mode which will faseter to load the data.

Data is already available in Model through Import  mode.  On click of the icon (bookmark) filter is getting removed to allow the user to search for ids , removing the filter is taking sometime.

We are having at the max 800 records per entity total 10 entity.

When the report is getting load while opening from app.powerbi link , control are taking time to get loaded with the data.
