I am new to Power BI and DAX. I am building a new Power BI with Dynamic RLS Security. The Security is going to be based on granting access to all managers (all the way to top level mgmt) of the user that has access to the Power BI.
I am getting an PATH LOOP Error for my Power BI Data containing "User UPN's" and "Manager UPN's". The error states that a user is being found in both columns but this is how it is supposed to be setup. The User Column contains all users and the Manager Column contains only managers of those users. How can I get around this?

Not what I said. A loop happens if both entries point to each other
employeeID | ManagerID |
12345 | 67890 |
67890 | 12345 |
A path loop occurs when user A is listed as manager of user B and user B is listed as manager of user A.
That is a data quality issue.
I checked each field in error message and none have same user UPN in both User and Manager Columns.

Ok I see they do. Thanks for the info.
