Hi, i created 3 dynamic filters to open a certain file using parameters, now how to bring these parameters in front so that i or anyperson can change it from the list of values and PBI can open other file as needed.
Hi Sahir
Thanks for your response that really helps.
On this continuing topic, when i try to create a slicer how to link the parameters , as i dont see them in tables other than transform data.
Thanks
Animesh
Hello @Jain1707,
For each parameter, you can define a list of values that users can select from. This can be done by going to the "Manage Parameters" option and setting the "Suggested Values" to either "List of values" or "Query". If you choose "List of values", you manually enter the values. If you choose "Query", the list will be populated based on the results of a query.
In Power BI Desktop, you /your users can change parameter values from the "Transform Data". Here, you /your users can select "Manage Parameters" and change the values as needed. For Power BI Service, maybe consider creating a slicer or filter that interacts with these parameters.
Hope this helps - Should you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.
