I have a calculated column named "Age_Month", which is the how old a part is, in months. I want to create a custom column that adds the result of "Age_Month" to the value of a parameter. What am I doing wrong?
Solved! Go to Solution.
1) You must use Measures instead of Calculated Column.
Calculated Columns are not dynamic (Its value will not change with your Slicer value selection).
2) Use SELECTEDVALUE():
Adjusted_Age_Month = Combined_Inventory[Age_Month] + SELECTEDVALUE('Add Month'[Add Month Value]).
