I have some customer names that start with * (asterik) and I'm trying to remove those results by doing an advanced filter and "does not contain" *...but it removes EVERYTHING as the * I think is a wild card search or something?
Is there any way I can make this work to remove the items with a * text?
Thanks!

One way would be to add a query step in the Query Editor. That would get rid of the asterisk. Not sure if that would fulfill the requirement but could probably use a similar technique to remove those rows.
= Table.ReplaceValue(Source,"*","",Replacer.ReplaceText,{"YourColumnName"})
A DAX method would be to create a Measure like:
Measure 7 = IF(LEFT(MAX([Country]),1)="*",0,1)
You could use that on a Visual Level Filter.
