Page and Visual Level Filters

Hi I wonder if someone can help.

I have a ‘Date’ Page level filter applied to one of my pages. I have selected two dates the 1st April 2017 and 1st May 2017

I have tables that rely on both dates being selected. They work based on measures used to calculate the Previous Month, Current Month and Difference.

The problem I am having is that I want other charts to only display information form the 1st May (Current Month). At the moment I have applied a Date Visual level filter. Is there any way I could edit my formula to eliminate this?

Number of Sales = CALCULATE(DISTINCTCOUNT(' Reports'[Transaction ID]))

Ps the Previous and Current Month dates will change so the solution needs to be fliexible enough to account for this

Thanks for the help

@Boycie92,

Could you please provide us some sample data and some screenshots, so that we can understand your requirement better and make further analysis.

Perhaps switch to a slicer and then edit your interactions between visuals.
