    Hi annjoseph ,

    We can create two tables and a measure to meet your requirement.

    1. Create unique name column table and add an index column using Power Query Editor.

    2. Create a start and end table using Enter Data.

    3. Create a measure, put the measure in values, put the [Start] in category, put the [name] in breakdown.

    PVM =
    SWITCH (
        SELECTEDVALUE ( 'Table (2)'[Sort] ),
        1, SWITCH (
            SELECTEDVALUE ( 'name table'[name] ),
            "A", -1 * CALCULATE(SUM('Table'[value]),FILTER('Table','Table'[name]="A")),
            "B", -1 * CALCULATE(SUM('Table'[value]),FILTER('Table','Table'[name]="B")),
            "C", -1 * CALCULATE(SUM('Table'[value]),FILTER('Table','Table'[name]="C")),
            "D",-1 * CALCULATE(SUM('Table'[value]),FILTER('Table','Table'[name]="D")),
            0
        ),
        2, SWITCH (
            SELECTEDVALUE ( 'name table'[name] ),
            "A", 0,
            "B", 0,
            "C", 0,
            "D",0,
            SUM('Table'[value])
        )
    )

    If it doesn’t meet your requirement, could you please provide a mockup sample based on fake data or describe the fields of each tables and the relations between tables simply?

    It will be helpful if you can show us the exact expected result based on the tables.
