PBI publish another state of report than pbix file

Hello,

I have a metric

Last Full Month = Switch( True(),
eomonth(R_SHR_HRS_CAL[DAT_DAT],0)= eomonth(Today(),-1),"Last Full Month",
Format(R_SHR_HRS_CAL[DAT_DAT],"MMM YYYY")
)
I've published two similar reports - one with row level security, another without and in one report, my last full month is August (which is true) but in another its July and the data is also associated with July. In pbix I got august, but when I publish i go to services and have July.
Any idea what's going on?

Hi @Anonymous ,

Please reconfirm that another report does not apply RLS.

In my tests everything works fine:

Based on the information you provided, I can't tell exactly what the problem is? Could you provide some screenshots (hiding sensitive information) to help us better solve your problem.

Thanks for your efforts & time in advance.

Best regards,

Yadong Fang

Hi @Anonymous,

Is this behavior still persistent or did it happen only on the 1st of the month?

It could be possible that due to the UTC timing, the measures/calculated columns could be calculating the date differently.

Just a thought.

Thank you,

Vishesh Jain
