PBI desktop application left navigation icons solid black?

Regardless of desktop appearance selection (dark, legacy, light, system default) the top three icons on the left nav (Report view, Table view and model view) are now rendered solid black.  Has anyone seen this? The icons are functional, just solid black.  Pretty sure this showed up just today; repaired the install to no effect. - Using November 2025 Release.

Power BI Desktop is showing black icons for many users due to a WebView2 regression. I wrote a short article explaining the issue and a safe workaround you can use for demos or recordings until Microsoft releases the fix.

Hi @slaneyg

Experiencing the same. Yesterday, I installed the Jan 2026 version but the display was still fine after. It started just today. Interestingly, it also affects an older version of Power BI Desktop installed in the same device. Either the recent version or a recent windows update has caused this.

Hi @slaneyg

I wasn't able to find any explanation online. Could it be they have been changed to look like this? Or maybe it's a bug of the November version and it's gonna be solved on a leter update?

Maybe you can report the issue? https://community.fabric.microsoft.com/t5/Issues/idb-p/Issues
