PBI Matrix Help

Can anyone help, I am trying to get my matrix from showing two total lines. I need all the subtotals, then just one Course total at the end.. Also, instead of making it say Course Total, can I make it more dynamic and say the total of the Course Value? For this example, I would like for it to say ACG2071C Total

Hi @dbldee5 ,

As far as I know, currently Power BI doesn't support us to show dynamic subtotal name by measure.

However, we can DIY the subtotal for each level.

Row subtotals > Turn on "Per row level" > Select the level you want to change in "Row level"

Result is as below.

If you want to turn off the subtotal of which level, you can select the level and turn off the subtotal.

I really wish there was a way to conditionally show a different total text but it is either Total or a custom text for all total rows. There are similar ideas that have been raised which need votes.

Hi @dbldee5, Currently this feature is not available in Power BI to make the total name dynamic.
