I did some basic research and couldn't get a straight answer. I'm trying to understand what is going on when I refresh a query from the Query Editor compared with what happens when I click Refresh from the Report Editor?

the query editor loads about 200 rows as a preview, as well as any metadata refeshes, when you load into the visual pane you are bringing all the data through.

Ahh, so, we would normally expect the Report Editor "Refersh" to take longer than the Query Editor refresh. That makes sense now. Thanx much
