PBI Desktop Aug. 2020 - Web URL and Matrix Report does not work with conditional formatting

Hi,

I'm working with PBI Desktop August 2020 version and trying to use a Web URL within a matrix report.
I have a column "Date" and a row "Test_name". The values are KPIs to indicate wether a test was successful or not at a specific date.
Now I want to have a URL for these KPIs per test to point to a ticketing system i.e.
This works as long as I do not use the conditional formatting to make the KPI's look nice and as requested. It should be red, green and amber arrows indicating the test result.
As soon as I use the conditional formatting the KPI's look the way requested, but the URL link is gone.
Any suggestions how this could be resolved?
Thanks a lot!
Michael

Hi, @MichaelHill

Based on your description, I created data to reproducce your scenario. The pbix file is attached in the end.

Table:

You may create measures like below.

URL =
SWITCH(
    SELECTEDVALUE('Table'[ID]),
    1,"https://www.google.com/",
    2,"https://www.daxformatter.com/"
)

Color Control =
SWITCH(
    SELECTEDVALUE('Table'[ID]),
    1,"red",
    2,"green"
)

Then you may set the 'Data category' for 'URL' as 'Web URL' and conditional formatting the background of 'URL' as below.

Result:

Best Regards
