Overall Power BI use

Hello everyone... I'm in the evaluation mode for Power BI & have a few questions concerning overall use.  I've watched a couple of videos & looked through the internet.  Figured it might be a good thing to reach out to the knowledge base of current users.

We are looking at Power BI to replace some aging technologies.  PBI seems pretty robust.

Our scenario:

• Medium sized company not an enterprise... Premium is way to expensive for us.
• Local DB using Business Objects & Crystal Reports 

What we’re trying to accomplish with Power BI

• Write reports & dashboards against a local DB
• Email reports to users as necessary
• Have access to reports on the web… both mobile & desktop access

Questions based off of needs

• Can I give a date / time to email reports from PBI (Say... Wednesday at 2pm)?
• Would I need Power BI pro for all who access reports/dashboards via desktop/moble?
• The report seemed to upload a copy of the table into the pbix package.  Is this true?
  • Some tables are huge & not sure I'd want to upload a "copy" into the package 
    • Would a data gateway keep this from happening?
    • Can I schedule the refresh timeline for the gateway?
