Output the previous Month from date column

Hi All,

 

I am trying to do a simple task but I can't seem to do it.

I have a column called date and I want to output the previous months date in this column.

 

Please note that the latest date in the column might not be the current month.

For example:

 

Date         
Jan-21    
Feb-21    
Mar-21    

 

What I want to do is create a measue that extracts Feb 21 and output it on a card.

 

The current code I have is 

DateMeasure = DATEADD('Data'[Date],-1, MONTH)

    Hi,

    if your model is not too huge you can create a calculate column

    then use in your card
