Ordering Column orders in Matrix (Columns are a two level hierarchy, so order on subcategory)

Hi all,

So I have created an order column, and sorted the table by that column. This causes the Matrix to be correct if I drop the relevant field into the column.

An example to make this clearer, Imagine the field was Country, which is being ordered by a custom column. Country has been dropped into the column field and this has worked fine.

However, when I drop the hiearchy in:

Region and Country, as I want to display the region and Countries associated under it.. the arranagement is now based on Region or random?

How can I sort this out?

Thank you,

Hi @Anonymous

You might consider creating pbix file that will contain some sample data, upload the pbix to onedrive or dropbox and share the link to the file. Please do not forget to describe the expected results based on this sample data.
