Oracle Synonyms supported In PowerBI ?

Hi All ,

We are implementing table swap using Oracle synonyms and would like to use the synonym instead of hard coded table name.

I wanted to confirm if PowerBI Allows Synonyms in the 2023 or the feature is not available till date

Hi Amit,

Thanks a lot for your prompt reply.

The Synonym name is "ABC" ( Earlier the name of the table was ABC)

Now we have created 2 table ABC_1 and ABC_2 and we are using "ABC" Synonym to point to these tables.

PowerBI is not able to map ABC synonym to the underlying table and is giving an error..

"the key didn't match any rows in the table"

Were you able to import synonyms? I am currently facing the same issue with Netezza. Any help is appreciated.

@Vivek26 , Open power query and change the table name with a synonym and check does it take the name and still works
