I'm connecting to an Oracle DB and the connection has been working fine for months. The query is slow, but it has worked.
Now, it will start loading rows, and then after a couple hundred rows are loaded , it bombs out with the following error message:
OLE DB or ODBC error: [DataSource.Error] Oracle: ORA-03114: not connected to ORACLE
The weird thing is that it's been auto-refreshing fine in the cloud, but I can't manually refresh in my pbix file.

For some reason, changing my VPN resolved this issue. I no longer received the error during manual refresh by choosing a different VPN.

Thank you Amit. I think you are right. Can that be done in BI Desktop or is that done on the Database side? Thank you,
zach
