Hi PBI Community,
This month PBI released a feature where you can disable the not so pretty visual headers in report view. However, on doing so, I also lose the ability to export data. Could I hide the visual headers and also be able to export data?
Any help would be appreciated!
As of today this feature is still unsupported by PBI. I have submitted an idea to Microsoft on this. Please, vote it up so that Microsoft engineers take note of it and do something about it: Microsoft Idea (powerbi.com)
Looks like an Idea was posted here https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas/suggestions/33787927-export-to-excel-when-the...
@Anonymous,
Export data option is embedded in visual header, when you turn off the visual header, it is not possible to export data from visual.

I hope PBI adds an feature/link to export the underlying data. I really prefer not having the visual headers.
@v-yuezhe-msft thank you so much for your response.
@Anonymous,
Please submit a feature request in Power BI ideas forum.
