Only power bi provided date hierarchies or primary date column are supported

Hello ,

Trying to create quick measure  with live connection posting date have date Datatype only but it gives below error in power bi , "Only power bi provided date hierarchies or primary date column are supported"

As tested, you could create a measure (Modeling->new measure)

Mtd = TOTALMTD(SUM('4181'[value]),'4181'[date])

Yes , but want to use quick measure .

Hi @Anonymous 

I'm afraid it doesn't support such function using quick measure in live connection.

Using menu "New measure" to create a measure should be a useful workaround so far.

Please have a try.
