Only allow selection of certain values in slicer

I'm wondering if there's a way to only allow certain selections in a slicer.

For example I have a financial dataset with a scenario field. It is populated with either a forecast, actual,or budget from a date.

Is there a way I can only allow selection of actuals from the slicer.

I tried to understand what you described in the case, but I still don't quite understand what kind of slicer you wants in the end . Could you please provide some sample data and the screenshot of expected results ? I created sample visual just like below, but I don't think this is what you want...

If you only want actuals on the whole report page, you can apply a Page Filter.  This is within the Filter Pane toward the bottom.  

If you only want actuals within a visual you can apply the filter within the filter pane.

both options remove the need for the Slicer.
