One of my columns that includes a date and a time will not produce visualization

One of my columns contains the date/time (ex: 10/3/2018 12:00:00 AM). When I try to create a visualization with the data, however, it does not show up. What are possible explanations for this and how can I fix it?

The information is very little to assist you.

You just have one record in that column ? Which visal you are using ? What you get when you use this field in the visual, post the snapshot.
