One Drive address

Hello everyone,

 

First of all not sure if I should ask in Poer BI community.

 

I'm having an issue with the One Drive address when refreshing data, I do know the reason behing but not sure if I can solve or go around it.  I use Power BI from my office desktop computer and I also use from my latop. When I'm working on my laptop and need to refresh I always have to change the source address C:\Users\brin\********\*******\****.xlsx address to my laptop address

C:\Users\slav\********\*******\****.xlsx

 

Is there a way I could juts refresh instead of changing the source address?

    One workaround for this is by putting the file in a shared drive. From there you will no longer need to change the address of the source always.

    Hi brinky ,

    Maybe you can take a look at the following blog about to use power query to get the current username, then you can parameterize your connection string and use extracted value to replace username part.
