We require an on-premises Power BI setup with a Premium license, including support for Copilot features. The entire solution must be hosted on-premises, with no reliance on cloud infrastructure. Additionally, the setup should include role-based access, allowing some users to only view reports while others have permissions to create and manage them.

    Hi All,
Firstly anmolmalviya05  thank you for your solution!
And Iamirzasad ,According to your question, you want to use Copliot in Power BI desktop, right?
The following documentation may be helpful to you, To use Copilot in Power BI Desktop, you need to have Administrator, Member, or Participant access to at least one workspace that is assigned to a Copilot-enabled paid fabric capacity (F64 or later) or Power BI Premium capacity (P1 or later). version) that is Copilot-enabled.
Below is the relevant documentation I found for you, which I hope you find helpful!

  • Hi Iamirzasad ,

    I'm afraid that's not possible.
You can set up an on-premise solution for Power BI:
    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/products/power-bi/report-server

But Copilot is a cloud-based service. Copilot in Power BI runs on a cloud capacity (F64 or higher). Therefore, whenever you use copilot in Power BI, it violates the requirements of not being dependent on any cloud infrastructure.
