Hello, I am new to PBI and have published my first report and set it on scheduled refresh, I used on-premise data gateway(personal mode). One of the table in the dataset was pulling records from SQL Server, Is that why I needed the on-premise data gateway? The report would be shared with multiple users in the organization(read only view), would the personal mode create an issue? Given, the users would only view the report and won't be editing or doing anything with the dataset?

Hello @Bambroo69 ,
Yes, you needed a gateway because your data source is from an on-premises SQL server.
No, there won't be an issue with other users viewing the report.
