On Premises Data Gateway (Personal Mode) Installation Error
Hi, I am unable to install the On Premises Data Gateway ( Personal Mode). It is stuck on finding the file of "(29490C40-4E15-41C1-B0CE-ACA904096754)v15.214.8\DataMovement.PersonalGatewayComponents.msi". It is also the same issue once i login my system each time it is open on window installer and stuck at browse window. I think I might need to old version to reinstall first to get it solved. Kindly help me to solve it asap.cskoglund v-haibl-msft

Idrissshatila This is very basic information and simple installation steps that i already know. I have different issue during the process of installation.

It seems like you got failed when install the personal gateway. In order to make further troubleshooting and give you sutiable solution, could you please check or try the following info?
- If your system meet the minimum system requirements for the Power BI Personal Gateway.
- If run the installation file as an administrator (select "Run as Administrator")
- Uninstall the gateway and clear the cached files, re-download the installation file and re-install it Install the on-premises data gateway (personal mode)

Hi, I already tried that solution only after that I post my question. There is No app with the name of Gateway in control panel to unistall.
I hope you understand my issue now.
I have this exact issue! and the same box pop up, I cannot find a solution anywhere
