I am struggling to understand why the date filter on one of my columns is producing odd results
For some reason I can add photos so this may not make sense
My date filter is on or after 16/7/22 and on or before 17/7/22 gives me a single line dated 16/7 implying there is not data for 16/7. If I widen my filter to on or after 15/7 I get 2 results for 16th. So seems the on or after is actually being treated as after??
If i try equals 17/7 I get nothing so again equal seems to be after not on???
If instead of using the data filters I use the list of dates and check 17/7 I get a single row as expected
So basically the date filters seem to have gotten broken. Same on any other date field anywhere in this model. Actually I tried another model and same issue. is this a new bug in power BI as sure this didnt used to happen? Dont think it can be my data as 2 completely different data sources.
Thanks
Mike

Well just updated my version of powerbi and it is now working normally. How strange. Thanks for trying to help
I also had this issue - I was using the latest vertion of Power Bi (September 2022). However after i uninstalled and reinstalled the bug was fixed.
I just tested the filter and it seems to work
Might be a silly question, but is the date set to type date?

sorry this is in the data view not on the report view. Works fine in the visuals, but not when filtering the underlying data table. Yes they are formatted as dates. i dont know why I can add a photo to the forum
You can add a photo using the icon:
Also works in data view

Wont let me click done after I select the photo
so if you do equals 4/1/22 you get a result?
So I did what you did with a new pbix and created a small table and works fine, but not in any of my models
i tried 28/2 wondering if it was something t odo with UTC time as I'm in the UK but same issue. These are all datetime fields, but one modelis coming form MS Dynmaics and the other is from an excel spreadhseet. Fields are formatted as dates in Power Query.
i tried loading one of the excel sheets up in anew model formatting one field as a date and does exactly the same thing. Attached is a cut down version with just 2 columns with the pbix
If I filter this for a data i can see I get nothing. ???
Equals 4/01/2022
(As regards the photo, it could be due to wrong file type or size)
