Hello all!
I have tried for quite some time now to get data from Odata URL into Power BI Desktop. However It has not been of any luck so far. So far I have these two conclusions
1. The odata URL in browsermode works (OdataV4).
2. It does not work to login in PowerBi Desktop with basic authentication: We couldn't authenticate with the credentials provided.
It's based on dynamicscloud. When looking into the "user tab" in my NAV program I can see username is: <Domain>\<username> and I am using web license key to log in. However this does not work.
I have cleared permissions as well in PowerBi. Do you guys have any suggestion of what is wrong?
Hi @hedin123 ,
Have you tried using Basic login tab? Try using domain name with username or using username alone.
Best Regards,
Jay
