Hi everybody, this is my first time coming to look for help here.
We've been using PBI for years now, last year we switched our ERP from Tango to SAP.
The conecction with SAP Business One has been working until a poweroutage when the remote desktop we used for PBI died. I've been working on this solutions for a month now, alongside our SAP Provider (not much help though as they don't know much about PBI).
IT and I were able to connect de ODBC Driver to the database, but I keep having refresh issues. I'm able to export data from the database an work on it on PowerQuery, but when I close and apply the changes to PBI Desktop I get these errors:
OLE DB or ODBC error: Excepción de HRESULT: 0x80040E4E.
ole db or odbc error: [DataSource.Error] ODBC:ERROR [S1000][SAP AG][LIDODBCHDB DLL][HDODBC] General error;260 invalid column name: SQL_WVARCHAR: line 76 col 48 (at pos 1401).
Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong? or maybe i'm missing a step on this.
Thanks
Lucy
Hi @LuciaUguetTecno ,
Based on the error information, the column name is invalid.
Try to check the column names match those in the database.
Then, review the query syntax to be compatible with the ODBC Driver.
You can also view the following documnets to learn more about ODBC.
