As Praful_Potphode mentioned, you can roll back to previous version till the time the issue is fixed. This is the command which you can run in your command prompt to roll back to the old version.
Please note you might need system admin permissions in order to run this command
"C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\ClickToRun\OfficeC2RClient.exe" /update user updatetoversion=16.0.19426.20170Connect on LinkedIn

It is now the end of February and nothing as yet has been developed by Microsoft to resolve this issue which is affecting many users of Access and SQL products. Our IT department are reluctant to downgrade the software and we are trying to switch the process to a remote server which will automatically update the software on a daily basis, so we cannot use the downgrade option. We are now left in limbo on this, any suggestions on how we can get this to work?
